Mr Bond’s ongoing leadership has built something extraordinary in St Helena, and we celebrate him by dedicating our annual fund drive to ensuring that the programs and the musical seeds he has so tirelessly cultivated will continue for many more harvests of harmony and inspiration.

Dear Choral Society friends and family,
We write today with our board’s Annual Appeal for your continued support. Your loyalty – and donations – are so appreciated. Please know how essential your gifts are to keep our choirs singing!
Last year, we marked a big anniversary: Our guiding light, artistic director Craig Bond, celebrated over 50 years of musical leadership and service here in our community! Hard to imagine – over 50 years of teaching and inspiring generations of St. Helena students! We’re a lucky community indeed.
We are also proud, post-pandemic, that “Mr. Bond” and his daughter, Assistant Director Melissa Bond, have kept all four of our St. Helena choirs (Children’s, Teen, Chamber Singers, and Jazz@7) on mission to sing and learn together. None of this would be possible without your support.
Since October 2023, the SHPAC lobby has hosted a beautiful bronze plaque honoring Craig Bond’s dedication to our community. Don’t miss seeing it when you join us for a concert!
Each fall since our 2007 founding as a nonprofit, we have asked for your support – and you have always responded with great generosity. Only HALF of the Choral Society’s annual budget is funded by student tuition and performance ticket sales. We rely keenly on your gifts to make the difference and to keep the harmony and teamwork growing.
