Now more than ever, we rely on your gifts and sponsorships to fund classes, workshops, festivals and performances! Ticket sales and choir tuitions historically cover just 42% of our annual budget. The rest depends on your help—to produce programs, keep ticket prices family-friendly, buy music, and offer scholarships.

Dear friends – Every Annual Fund gift, large or small, matters. We simply cannot do this without you.
Tuition and ticket sales cover only about half of our annual costs. Your gifts to the Annual Fund bridge that gap, supporting scholarships, sheet music, professional accompanists and soloists, concert production, youth programs, and all the less-visible necessities that make our music possible.
And what a season your support makes possible! Across the Choral Society, children are discovering their first joy in singing, teens are developing their voices and confidence, and Jazz @ 7 Vocal Ensemble—along with the newly formed Bond Girls—are exploring a variety of musical traditions. Our flagship Chamber Singers present two full-length choral programs each year, ranging from Mozart’s monumental Requiem to our original Americana Musical Jubilee, created especially to celebrate St. Helena’s 150th anniversary.
A Musical Home for Every Generation
Under the inspiring leadership of Craig Bond and Melissa Bond, this extraordinary family of ensembles has grown over nearly five decades to become a true musical home for every generation.
We have shared a long history—but we are also looking ahead. With the Choral Society’s 50th anniversary approaching in fall 2029, our all-volunteer Board is planning for a vibrant future: preparing for rising costs, keeping our educational programs and performances accessible, and ensuring strong leadership for the day when Craig eventually retires from directing.
Investing in the Future
Alongside our Annual Fund, we have launched the Craig Bond Harmony Fund, a complementary multiyear giving initiative to strengthen the Society for the next generation. You'll be hearing more about this exciting initiative in the months ahead.
But it is your Annual Fund gifts that have brought us this far and remain the backbone of our work—sustaining the music, musicians, and programs we bring to our community today.

Craig Bond's Extraordinary Musical Legacy
Starting in tthe 1970s and still going strong, Mr Bond’s ongoing leadership has built something extraordinary in St Helena. We celebrate him by dedicating our annual fund drive to ensuring that the programs and the musical seeds he has so tirelessly cultivated will continue for many more harvests of harmony and inspiration.
